Connor: Hey guys, how's it going Connor here today at etrailer.com. We're going to be taking a look at the Tuson electric over hydraulic actuator for disk brakes here on our Keystone Cougar. So in order to change from electric to surge brakes here on our fifth wheel trailer, we're going to need some mechanism to apply the pressure to both of our disk brake calipers. In order to do that, we're going to be using this actuator here. So this actuator is going to take input from the tow vehicle via the form of an electric signal. And then it's going to actuate the pump, and it's going to apply the pressure to our disc breaking assembly so we can stop and slow down the trailer.So in order to use our electric over hydraulic unit, just like we would for electric brakes, we're going to need a brake controller in the cab of our tow vehicle. more
